Dr. Marsh graduated from the University
of Iowa in 1967 after which he served
four years in the U.S. Navy as a pilot.
Upon returning home, he entered the
Iowa State University College of Veterinary
Medicine, where he earned his degree as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1976.
Dr. Marsh spent his initial years as an associate veterinarian in a small animal practice in Mt. Prospect, Illinois. In 1979, he purchased the Woodinville Animal Hospital, beginning practice there on November 1, 1979. After many successful years in “the little yellow house on the main street,” the Woodinville Animal Hospital moved to its present location in June of 2001.
Dr. Marsh is a member of the Seattle-King County Veterinary Association, the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. In addition, he enjoys membership in the Woodinville Rotary Club, of which he is a Past President, and he is also a Past President of the Woodinville Chamber of Commerce.
In his spare time, Dr. Marsh enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, woodworking, and, best of all, playing “old folkie” music on his beloved six-string.
Dr. Frey earned his DVM degree from The Ohio State University. He joined Woodinville Animal Hospital in 2002. Dan's 40 years of experience in veterinary medicine and his sense of humor make him a valuable asset to our clinic. When asked what he likes best about working at Woodinville Animal Hospital, Dan sings the praises of great friendships, excellent staff attitude, freedom of thought and expression and the ability to serve the local community.
Dan loves travel, wood-working and dog training. He owns two Akitas, Mikoko Hawa and Ozeki-Saki-Fugi, both of which are obedience-trained, hold canine Good-Citizen awards and are service dogs.
What's Dan's day-to-day attitude? "Don't take life too seriously – just do your best!"
